Teddy Bears and New Chairs
Been working on more clothing and other things for my shop. One of those things are toys for YOSD size bjd. Toys, doll buggy, wagon, etc. This is more of a side project and probably won't be in my shop till the new year. The teddy bears stand about 4 inches tall and are made from a wool felt blend. Their eyes and nose are in embroidery floss.

I love the one with the prosthetic eye. |
This is one of my little fees Molly. I know it looks like she's holding him hostage. This just means I need to improve my photograph skills. |

Feeple60 Moe Clothing
Ever since I got my hands on a Feeple60 moe Celine I have been playing around with designing and making clothing for her. Here are some of the things I have made and they will be available in my shop in December. I have been working on a upholstered chair in this size as well. It's just been more fun to make clothing. Eventually I'll start making 1/4 scale clothing as well (cause I have several minifees that are in need of new face-ups and clothing)

Some Little Side Projects
I want to add different thing to my shop. So I started to experiment with things. Some of the things that I have added or will be adding are picture frames. The frames will be blank so that they can be filled with a mirror or picture or just left blank and hung on the wall.
The original frames are made from Fimo. Then I made some mould from Easy Silicon putty. They turned out all right but there were too many air bubbles. I got better results form using Mold Max 30 Silicon Rubber Compound from Smooth-on. And it's pink too! n-n
The resin I used for casting is Smooth-Cast ONYX FAST. Boy! Is this stuff fast. You have a couple of minutes of "pot life" before it sets up. I found this out the hard way. It set up while I was pouring it into the mould. Of course it was funny. Yes, I did eventually go and read the instructions. n_n
As you can see in the first pic the two different moulds that I made. The one on the left is the Mold Max and the one on the right is the EasyMold Putty.
I still like using the purple one for other mould making ideas. But for detail I like the pink one. That's just my opinion. You might feel differently.
The spray paint i used was Krylon Fusion paint for plastics. It worked fairly well. The only beef I had was the nozzle on the can. I ended up getting more paint on my hand than what came out of the can. I don't know why they had to change it.
The frames should be in my shop by the end of the week, then I'll add the link.

Custom order
These are some of the pieces I made for a custom order for my Etsy shop. The client wanted the table and chairs to be in the same dark stain as the legs of the sofa and two wing back chairs.
Sorry that the pics are somewhat shitty but my camera doesn't seem to be speaking to my laptop at the moment. lol :) So I used my cellphone instead.

1/6 Scale Furniture
Some in progress pics of my new 1/6 scale furniture pieces that I've been working on. I really love making smaller versions of some of my pieces. The great thing about 1/6 scale is that it uses up the pieces of basswood, foam, batting and fabric left over from the larger scale items. Also, their just so cute.
Using new scroll saw to cut out the centre of the headboard detail. |
Waiting for the glue to dry. =_= |
Still waiting. |
Took me (what seemed like forever) to turn four finials. Then I remembered I was making two beds.>_< They are about a 1cm high. |
Here are the two beds with a coat of primer on them. See eight little finials. n_n |
Batting covered foam. All ready for some fabric. |
Getting there. |
All done. They're so cute. |
Little wing back chairs. |
What a lovely couple they make. |
All done painting. I added patina instead of staining it first then added paint. It's difficult to see the patina effect in this shot. |
Somewhat of a close up of the bed. Might add a bit more patina. |

Been gone too long. So here are some chairs.
![]() |
This is the first one I made. So pleased with the end result. |
![]() |
Love this fabric. |

Wingback. |
![]() |
Shhhhh, she's had a hard day testing furniture. |
![]() |
I have to say I really love how my wingback chairs turned out. Usually, I make a chair and am not happy with the first try. |
![]() |
Still need one more coat of paint and a bit more distressing. The shabby chic look is a bit of work. But always turns out so nice. |
![]() |
Still needs the support for the back so it won't collapse. So far so good. |
![]() |
These are the legs for the comfy chair. I figured I should keep the style of the legs simple when first trying to turn on the lathe. |
![]() |
So many legs. Funny thing is as many as I made it only ended up being enough for seven chairs. |

I love how this comfy chair turned out. Just need to attach the legs. |
