The original frames are made from Fimo. Then I made some mould from Easy Silicon putty. They turned out all right but there were too many air bubbles. I got better results form using Mold Max 30 Silicon Rubber Compound from Smooth-on. And it's pink too! n-n
The resin I used for casting is Smooth-Cast ONYX FAST. Boy! Is this stuff fast. You have a couple of minutes of "pot life" before it sets up. I found this out the hard way. It set up while I was pouring it into the mould. Of course it was funny. Yes, I did eventually go and read the instructions. n_n
As you can see in the first pic the two different moulds that I made. The one on the left is the Mold Max and the one on the right is the EasyMold Putty.
I still like using the purple one for other mould making ideas. But for detail I like the pink one. That's just my opinion. You might feel differently.
The spray paint i used was Krylon Fusion paint for plastics. It worked fairly well. The only beef I had was the nozzle on the can. I ended up getting more paint on my hand than what came out of the can. I don't know why they had to change it.
The frames should be in my shop by the end of the week, then I'll add the link.

Oh! They look great :D I've been collecting frames for my Bisou Ai so I'll have to keep an eye out for the release of these.
